Join author, speaker and seamstress Rosemary Griggs to explore the intricacies of Tudor dress. Includes a full costume demonstration and discussion of fabrics, embroidery, who made the clothes, how they kept them clean, and how knitting became an important cottage industry. Rosemary loves bringing the past to life through her unique blend of theatre, history, and re-enactment. Her appearances and talks for museums and community groups all over the West Country draw on her extensive research into sixteenth-century Devon, Tudor life and Tudor dress.  She is the author of the popular Daughters of Devon novels. Her first work of non-fiction, Queen Elizabeth I’s Governess: The Real Kat Ashley, was published in August 2026.
